Intervención educativa a gestantes sobre alimentación infantil
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio pre-experimental (antes-después) de intervención educativa para elevar el nivel de conocimientos sobre alimentación infantil de las gestantes del Hogar Materno Norte de Morón, durante el período de enero a marzo del 2009 a través de un programa educativo diseñado para este propósito. El universo de trabajo estuvo constituido por 25 gestantes ingresadas durante el estudio. El método de recolección de la información fue la encuesta. La investigación se implementó en tres etapas esenciales: diagnóstico, intervención y evaluación. Los resultados se presentan en tablas para su análisis, utilizando como medidas de resumen el número y porciento. El nivel de conocimientos de las gestantes antes de la intervención estuvo en un nivel bajo en casi todos los temas tratados referidos a la alimentación infantil. Luego de la intervención se eliminó la categoría de nivel de conocimientos bajo y todas las participantes se ubicaron en la categoría media seguida de la de nivel de conocimientos alto. Se concluye que el programa diseñado fue útil para el propósito creado y se propone su empleo para continuar implementando estos conocimientos tan necesarios para mejorar la preparación de las embarazadas.Downloads
