Critical mitral stenosis with liver damage

Abstract

A sequence of echocardiographic images of critical mitral stenosis with liver damage is presented (Figure 1), identified in a 54-year-old woman with liver cirrhosis of 10 years' evolution –with worsening and cardiovascular manifestations– of apparently unknown cause.
