Behavior of some variables related to the primitive cesarean section
Abstract
Introduction: The increase of cesarean surgery rises maternal-perinatal morbidity and mortality. Objective: To describe some variables due to women’s first cesarean surgery. Methods: An observational and descriptive study was carried out in a period of time since January 1st to December 31 in 2011. The universe was composed of 3001 deliveries and the sample was composed of 1048 women that had their first cesarean surgery. The data were collected in the book of deliveries. Results: Most of the pregnant women are operated with a pregnancy to term. The most commonly disease associated with pregnancy was anemia and in the complicating pregnancy was oligohydramnios.
