Are you interested in publishing on MediCiego?
The process of submitting articles can be carried out once the main author or research leader has an account on the Mediciego site and starts a work session, which is necessary to submit articles online and to check the status of their submissions.
It is recommended to review the Section Policies of the journal, as well as the Guidelines for Authors, before submitting online.
To create the account you must click on Register and fill out the form that will appear. Apart from the mandatory registration data (those that have an asterisk), the filling in of the metadata is required: institution, orcid identifier (with the updated profile), country and biographical summary (complete academic data of profession, scientific, teaching and research categories; administrative charges do not matter). The author box must be selected in order to send the contribution.
The registration must be validated from your email account so that you can log in successfully.
If, on the other hand, you already have an account as a result of registration, you just have to click on Login and enter with your username and password. Submissions are made by clicking on New submission as author role.
The submission process consists of five steps:
- Home. Items on the submission checklist will need to be completed in order to be fully checked off and proceed with the process, as well as the copyright notice. Those submissions that do not meet these elements will be returned to the authors.
- Load the submission. It would be convenient in Comment to the editor to inform if the article is a preprint, if it has already been reviewed by this journal on some occasion, if it was presented at an event or if it is the result of a thesis work.
- Enter the metadata. Remember to add, ordered according to the manuscript, all the authors of the research with their respective metadata in the same way as indicated above. Repeat emails will not be accepted.
- Upload the supplementary files. Attach the Declaration of Authorship, the graphs and figures separately, as well as any material used during the investigation and that may constitute a valuable source for other investigations.
- Confirmation. Your proposal will finally be sent to the Editorial Committee and you will receive a notification by email.
All authors are required to provide retractions or corrections of errors in case of detecting them, as well as information about the financial support provided to carry out the research, if applicable.
