This is an article that presents an impartial analysis and, generally, a perspective on a current issue in the field of health sciences or of scientific relevance to readers. It can be scientific or opinion-based. Scientific editorials focus the debate on a specific topic, while opinion-based editorials focus on the views of the scientific community on a specific topic of common interest.
- Authors: one author
- Abstract: unstructured; summarizes the topic addressed. Up to 100 words, in the submission metadata.
- Keywords: the same as for all types of articles, in the submission metadata.
- Maximum length: 1,000 words, not including bibliographical references
- Bibliographical references: up to six.
Mediciego publishes editorials at the request of the editorial board or upon request from the interested authors.
