Estudio puntual de infecciones intrahospitalarias, Hospital Provincial de Morón
Abstract
Para el estudio puntual de las infecciones nosocomiales objeto de nuestro trabajo se diseñó y aplicó una encuesta al total de pacientes ingresados 308) en los servicios de Medicina Interna, Cirugía, Ginecobstetricia y Pediatría del Hospital General Provincial Docente de Morón, en el período comprendido entre Noviembre de 1992 y Enero de 1993, 75 de los cuales fueron susceptibles a nuestra hipótesis y 46 de éstos arrojaron positividad (61.3 %).
La encuesta fue aplicada previo entrenamiento y pilotaje lo que nos permitióhacer las modificaciones pertinentes antes de su aplicación definitiva, comprobándose la existencia de subregistros de cada sub-comité y por ende un inadecuado funcionamiento, agudizado en algunos servicios.
Se demuestra que la mayor incidencia de estas infecciones fueron por flebitis, sepsis urinaria y respiratoria, lo que habla a favor de la deficiente labor de enfermería en estos procederes.
