Morbilidad de la embarazada y el recién nacido en relación con la flora vaginal
Abstract
Se realizó una investigación observacional descriptiva para conocer la morbilidad en el embarazo y su relación con la flora vaginal patógena en gestantes en el segundo y tercer trimestre que ingresara en el servicio de obstetricia del Hospital General Provincial Docente de Morón y que además tuviera su parto en dicha institución, durante el año 2000. El 68.5% de las gestantes estudiadas tenían cultivos vaginales positivos, siendo los cocos gram positivos los agentes biológicos más frecuentes encontrados. El porcentaje de cultivos positivos fue mayor en mujeres menores de 25 años, y en multíparas. Además en este grupo de mujeres fueron más frecuentes las Roturas Prematuras de Membranas y la morbilidad materna en el periparto.
