Flebitis azul. Estudio preliminar.

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio a pacientes portadores de Flebitis Azul que estuvieron ingresados en los servicios de Angiología de los Hospitales Provinciales Docentes Antonio Luaces Iraola y Manuel Ascunse Doménech de Ciego de Ávila y Camaguey respectivamente desde Enero de 1973 hasta Enero del 2003. Se analizaron los parámetros de edad, sexo, antecedentes patológicos personales, tratamiento utilizado y los logros obtenidos en el mismo. Se dan a conocer resultados preliminares de tener mayor frecuencia en el sexo masculino y en la quinta década de la vida. Los antecedentes patólogicos personales más frecuentemente encontrados fueron las neoplasias y los mejores resultados se obtuvieron cuando se realizó tratamiento quirúrgico por Trombectomía. Se realizó además la revisión de la literatura al respecto.
