Abstract

Se realizo una revisión bibliografica acerca del consentimiento informado en Peditria; cuestion esta que deriva del primer principio de la bioetica: el respeto por las personas, debido a la importancia creciente que ha cobrado el derecho personalisimo que asiste a los enfermos en conocer todo aquello que deseen con el fin de tomar libremente la decisión de continuar adelante o no con la propuesta diagnostica o terapeutica del medico asi como la obligación que tiene el profesional de informar. En relacion con la Pediatria la ley ha reconocido que el padre o tutor poseen la autoridad formal sobre las decisiones de asistencia de salud que afectan de forma directa al ni;o.
