Vía aérea difícil en el síndrome de Gerhart pos quirúrgico. Presentación de un caso.
Abstract
Se presenta el caso de una paciente anunciada de urgencia al servicio de Anestesiología y Reanimación del Hospital Morón, con el diagnóstico de Síndrome de Gerhart pos quirúrgico para realizársele traqueostomía de urgencia previa permeabilización de la vía aérea, teniendo en cuenta las características anatómica difíciles para abordar la tráquea, marcada dificultad respiratoria y estridor laríngeo, imposibilidad para el decúbito supino y predictivamente una vía aérea difícil de abordar tanto endotraqueal como quirúrgicamente, por este cuadro clínico tan comprometedor para la paciente y la imposibilidad de colocar en posición para la técnica quirúrgica así como el compromiso respiratorio, es que el cirujano solicita que la vía aérea deba ser abordada por anestesia y posteriormente realizar el proceder quirúrgico. Dada la infrecuente coincidencia de estas dos situaciones en un mismo paciente y la complejidad de acceder a la vía aérea se decidió presentar el caso.
