Producción científica sobre salud en la revista MediCiego de 2005 a 2007.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio exploratorio con diseño descriptivo con el objetivo de describir el comportamiento de la producción científica sobre salud de autores de la provincia Ciego de Avila en la revista provincial MediCiego desde los años 2005 al 2007, para lo cual se revisaron todos los números de la revista en estos años, a partir de la inclusión de los mismos en el mapa del conocimiento del proyecto sobre Gestión del Conocimiento que se lleva a cabo en el Centro Provincial de Información de Ciego de Avila. Se evidenció que la producción científica de los profesionales de la salud de la provincia Ciego de Ávila durante el período 2005-2007 fue baja , si se toma en consideración el potencial humano especializado existente en el territorio y las facilidades que la revista MediCiego ofrece a los profesionales del sector , que la producción científica entre las mujeres es superior a la encontrada entre los hombres y que existió un mayor número de artículos de investigación clínica, de profesionales médicos como autores de los artículos y de los Hospitales Generales de Ciego de Avila y Morón
