Abstract
Los dientes retenidos son la patología quirúrgica más frecuentemente realizada por el Cirujano Máxilo Facial en su práctica diaria. Los segundos molares son los dientes que se retienen con menor frecuencia y generalmente aparecen en la segunda década de la vida. Se presenta el caso de una paciente, que acude a consulta de Cirugía Máxilo Facial remitida desde el primer nivel de atención por presentar Síndrome Doloroso Miofacial.
