Antibióticos. ¿Amenaza para la salud?
Abstract
Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre la antibioticoterapia, la resistencia a los antimicrobianos y la ecología microbiana a partir de la evaluación de los autores consultados con el objetivo de valorar los efectos nocivos de los antibióticos para la sociedad y el ambiente por la extensión de su uso y mal uso. Se analiza la importancia de mantener un equilibrio adecuado de todos los organismos vivos que forman parte de la gran diversidad de especies del planeta entre ellas los microorganismos por su papel en el control ambiental. Se utilizan métodos observacionales descriptivos así como estadísticos. Se concluye que usar correctamente los antimicrobianos debe ser una prioridad en las condiciones ambientales actuales. Se debe contribuir a que los antibióticos y otros antimicrobianos constituyan un arma contra los microorganismos patógenos y no contra los hombres y la sociedad.Downloads
