Tuberculosis y embarazo¿Qué hacer?
Abstract
La tuberculosis (TB) continua siendo un problema de salud pública en muchos países, existiendo en la actualidad en la actualidad un resurgimiento a nivel mundial de esta infección. Nuestro país, a pesar de llevar un adecuado programa de control, no está exento a esta tendencia. Antes del advenimiento de la quimioterapia, la tuberculosis durante el embarazo tenía muy mal pronóstico, tanto para la madre como para el producto; actualmente se considera que las gestantes con tratamiento adecuado no sufrirán agravamiento de la enfermedad, no obstante, puede ocasionar un aumento de la morbimortalidad obstétrica y neonatal. La TB congénita es poco frecuente, pero es otro de los riesgos potenciales de la TB en mujeres embarazadas.Downloads
