Tratamiento de las preposiciones en el kernel I y el nivel de comprension-produccion en los estudiantes

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo efectuar un análisis del tratamiento que Robert O’Neill, autor de los libros Kernel para la enseñanza de idioma Inglés, da a las preposiciones en su concepto metodológico de enseñanza progresiva en forma de espiral, donde a través del uso continuado y la integración con otros aspectos, como son otras estructuras y funciones, se logra el aprendizaje y comprensión de la lengua, dándoseles repetidas oportunidades de usar estos elementos en contextos significativos, antes de que pueda ocurrir su completa aprehensión o dominio.

El estudio estuvo motivado por las dificultades que observamos en nuestros estudiantes para lograr una comprensión y posterior producción, teniendo en cuenta el significado que aporta esta palabra relacionante en diferentes contextos, de acuerdo con el uso (the usage).Y teniendo en cuenta estas dificultades, proponer un grupo de ejercicios que sirvan de apoyo al trabajo metodológico del profesor, superándose así la falta de sistematicidad en el tratamiento y ejercitación de las preposiciones que se observa en estos libros, que son el material conque guiamos a nuestros estudiantes en el aprendizaje del idioma Inglés.
