Fijacion extrafocal en las deformidades angulares de la rodilla.
Abstract
Se realizó una investigación observacional descriptiva retrospectiva de 40 pacientes ingresados en el Servicio de Ortopedia y Traumatologia del Hospital General Provincial Docente de Moron de enero/1992 a octubre/1996, con diagnóstico de genus varum (62,50%) y genu valgu, ( 37,50%). Los objetivos fueron mostrar los resultados obtenidos con el fijador externo modelo RALCA (DCGEA) en la osteotomia supratuberositaria correctora, complicaciones del método y tiempo de consolidación.Para la selección de los casos seguimos los criterios de Coventry y usamos el método de Bauer para calcular el tamaño de la cura a resecar. Las complicaciones fueron la sepsis de los alambres en 10 pacientes (25%), sepsis de la herida en 2 casos (5%) y la osteomielitis en un paciente (2,5%). El tiempo de consolidació de 6-7 semanas (75%). Los resultados
finales fueron Buenos en 30 pacientes (75%), Regular en 8 casos (20) y Malos en 2 pacientes (5%).
