Abstract

A consulted reference section on etiology, diagnosis and primary prevention of Congenital Cardiac Anomaly is introduced, based on the main authors working on this trend in Cuba and the world over, that which is considered of interest for the general practitioner. Terms related to the risk approach are described so as to ease the understanding of the article; methods to approach the ocurrence of Congenital Cardiac Anomaly are also emphasized.
