Terapia antimicrobiana en procesos sépticos orales y faciales
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo y transversal en el departamento de cirugía máxilo facial del Hospital General Docente de Morón, entre los meses de enero y febrero de 2012, con el objetivo de caracterizar las remisiones de los procesos sépticos orales y faciales al segundo nivel de atención en el área norte de Ciego de Ávila. El universo estuvo constituido por los 19 pacientes remitidos que acudieron a consulta, se trabajó con las personas que reunieron los criterios de inclusión, y los doctores que remitieron. Los datos fueron obtenidos mediante realización de entrevista y examen físico, procesados y presentados en tablas. Aproximadamente dos tercios de los pacientes remitidos correspondieron al grupo de 19-59 años y al sexo femenino. El absceso dentoalveolar agudo fue la patología más frecuente, seguida de la pericoronaritis. Los antibióticos de preferencia fueron la tetraciclina, cefalexina y ciprofloxacina en ese orden. El 57.89% de los doctores que remitieron fueron evaluados de mal según su desempeño.Downloads
